Copyright Office Hours
The Europeana Copyright Community’s Copyright office hours offer you a space to ask questions about copyright and digital cultural heritage, get inspired by other approaches and share your knowledge. Between March 2023 and January 2024, the Copyright Community Steering Group will host a series of copyright and policy office hours. These sessions provide space for discussion and knowledge exchange on different facets of copyright, including open licensing, re-use, and digital cultural heritage.You can find more information about the Office Hours' program for 2023 on the website of Europeana.
Change Impact Assessment Framework
The Change Impact Assessment Framework is a theoretical tool which can guide Cultural Heritage Institutions in assessing the positive impacts of their participatory activities in the digital sphere.
The conceptual framework proposes a new perspective, supported by a large collection of literature highlighting the importance of designing for the impact that digital active cultural participation can have on participants in a wide spectrum of psycho-social, environmental and innovation areas.

Policy Recommendations Toolkit
“Towards Community-Focused Cultural Heritage Institutions Operating in the Digital Realm” is a set of policy recommendations designed to assist cultural heritage institutions (CHIs) in fulfilling their public mission in the digital realm. Its goal is to further the democratic and community-focused digital transformation of CHIs, and to support access to, and the reusability of, digital cultural heritage.

This series of resources provide digital transformation guidelines for cultural heritage institutions (CHIs). They situate digital transformation in the context of opening up GLAM collections, inspired by the work at Europeana Foundation, the Europeana Aggregators’ Forum and the Europeana Network Association. They are based on an in-depth review of the state-of-the-art in self-assessment instruments for heritage institutions, of which the inDICEs self-assessment tool is a further evolution, taken on board insights and lessons learned from the COVID-19 crisis.
