Exploring Cultural Heritage through Data
A participatory process is a sequence of participatory activities (e.g. first filling out a survey, then making proposals, discussing them in face-to-face or virtual meetings, and finally prioritizing them) with the aim of defining and making a decision on a specific topic.
Examples of participatory processes are: a process of electing committee members (where candidatures are first presented, then debated and finally a candidacy is chosen), participatory budgets (where proposals are made, valued economically and voted on with the money available), a strategic planning process, the collaborative drafting of a regulation or norm, the design of an urban space or the production of a public policy plan.
About this process
Dashboard Lite
The inDICEs Dashboard Lite is a content exploration tool to analyse online narratives and track the latest topics across various sources (news, stakeholder websites, social media). It puts a special focus on the CCI sector and content published by European GLAMs in multiple languages.
CH practitioners, researchers, policy makers and other interested users can access the interactive interface to explore predefined topics such as “Decolonization”, “Diversity”, “Digital Culture” and “Copyright”, or specify their own searches via the right toolbar.
Eight different types of colour-coded visualisations such as a keyword graph, tag cloud and story graph reveal emerging topics and their associated terms, shed light on how the narrative develops and help to better understand current trends and how they affect the achievable impact of communication activities.
