Business models in digital culture

Avatar: Alexandre Piriou Alexandre Piriou
26/05/2020 16:32

What is the problem:

new business models, adapted to new technologies and associated upheavals, are unclear, not developed or not yet mature

What are the symptoms:

  • business in creative industries can not grow as it could
  • artists do not fully benefit from the potential of new technologies

What are the knowledge gaps:

  • BM to be developed and disseminated
  • Value chain needs to be reorganised

References:

What if as an artist I could find new ways to make money with my productions with innovative business models so that I get

  • a more fair revenue
  • more freedom and autonomy,
  • ensure IP protection
  • convince new "customers" to consume cultural goods
