Description (English)

  • -

We’ll present the Europeana Impact Playbook and some case studies where digital cultural heritage has been shown to drive areas of social change: e.g. building digital skills, generating new knowledge, and creating an increased feeling of connection to others.

In collaborative breakout groups that use the new Indices participatory platform, we’ll consider some big questions:

    1. Do we know enough about the impact of digital cultural heritage and how it drives social change?

    2. What’s missing from our narration of our impact?

    3. How do we engage the general public more to hear from them what value digital cultural heritage creates?

    4. How can we bring the sector together to talk about its impact in a unified way?

    5. How can we strengthen the message and the response to this by policy makers and the general public?
