Code of Conduct

All members of the Open Observatory community must adhere to the Decidim Social Contract. The ambassadors will ensure that the Code of Conduct is followed.

Initiating Participatory Activities

The ambassadors have administrative rights to initiate new activities on the platform and can grant those rights to others when needed. Any users can reach out to the ambassadors with ideas for new activities.

Encouraging Participation and Promoting Open Observatory

In their role, the ambassadors will take a proactive role in kickstarting and facilitating debates and participatory engagement.

As active members of various cultural heritage communities, they will also seek out opportunities where the platform could be used to facilitate participatory engagement and invite these communities to join.

Content Moderation

The ambassadors are responsible for content moderation on the platform. They have the right to delete harmful content or spam. As much as possible, ambassadors will try to as possible identify such content. All the platform users can flag inappropriate content that the ambassadors will then review.

New User Onboarding

The ambassadors will support new Open Observatory users who want to initiate and moderate participatory activities for their communities. Ambassadors will provide them will materials to guide them through the process.

Contact Point

The ambassadors serve as a contact point for any questions for the platform's users.
