To export your Office 365 mailbox to a PST file, you can use either the Outlook Import/Export Wizard or a third-party PST backup tool. To use the Outlook Import/Export Wizard: Open Outlook. Click on File > Open & Export > Import/Export. In the Import and Export Wizard dialog box, select Export to a file and click on Next. Select Outlook Data File (.pst) and click on Next. Select the mailbox or mail folders that you want to export and click on Next. Click on Browse to select the location where you want to save the PST file. Enter a file name for the PST file and click on OK. If you want to password-protect the PST file, select the Encrypt the exported file with a password check box and enter a password. Click on Finish to start the export process. To use a third-party PST backup tool: Follow the instructions that come with the tool. Here are some tips for exporting your Office 365 mailbox to a PST file: Choose a secure location to save the PST file. Encrypt the PST file with a password. Back up your PST file regularly. Test your PST backup. Exporting your Office 365 mailbox to a PST file is a good way to protect your data and ensure that you have a copy of your emails and other mailbox items in case of accidental deletion or corruption.
