Descrizione (English)

  • -

This workshop is one of four workshops organised by the inDICEs project.

The aim of the four workshops is to invite the international community of experts to collectively define policy recommendations that will allow Cultural Heritage Institutions (CHIs) to flourish and fulfill their public mission through appropriately designed digital transformation. In inDICEs we believe this goal can be only achieved with CHIs supporting access and the reusability of digital cultural heritage. That is why our particular interest is in policies related to the reuse of cultural assets and value chains that this reuse enables for various communities.

This workshop is one of four workshops organised by the inDICEs project.

Our aim is to collectively define policy recommendations that will allow Cultural Heritage institutions to flourish and fulfill their public mission, through appropriately designed digital transformation. In our view this goal can be only achieved with CHIs supporting access and the reusability of digital cultural heritage. That is why our particular interest is in policies related to the reuse of cultural assets and value chains that this reuse enables for various communities.

For this reason, we want to build on a by now well-defined vision of digitisation, preservation and access and expand it by focusing on four areas of focus:

    • Types of Reuse (December 13th)
    • Digitisation for Access
    • Ethics
    • Digital Public Space

Each of the themes will be discussed during a dedicated 90 min workshop. The four workshops will be held online  in December 2021 and January 2021.

    Registration terms

Please note that the workshops have limited access. The workshops are open to all inDICEs project partners and external experts (by invitation only).

The registration to the Policy Recommendations Workshops: Types of Reuse is open until December 9. Registered participants will receive more information about these activities shortly before the event.
